Senior Director Food Safety & Quality Assurance

We have been retained to fill a Senior Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance. This is a succession plan hire with the intent on promoting this person into the VP of FSQA within 18 months.

We are searching for an executive leader who plans, directs, and oversees all aspects of food safety and product quality. Develops and implements policies and controls to ensure quality assurance of laboratory and production efforts are achieved. Works closely with all departments to evaluate and implement compliance of customer and regulatory standards. Trains and manages the Quality Assurance staff.

Ideal candidates will have the following:

Bachelor’s Degree (BS)in food science, microbiology, or related science
Minimum of ten years of experience managing FSQA teams in food manufacturing required
Servant leadership style with a coaching and mentoring approach
HACCP, PCQI, and GFSI certifications heavily preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
