Maintenance Manager

This is an opportunity to come in and build a solid maintenance team and eventually grow into a Plant Director role. Growing company who is in acquisition mode.
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the maintenance and repair activities of machinery, equipment, and facilities. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to all relevant regulations and quality standards. This person will directly report to the Plant Manager with a dotted line to the Director of Maintenance and Reliability.
Ideal candidates will have the following:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
Previous experience in maintenance management, in a food manufacturing environment is required
Must be a hands on leader who develops the team on the floor
development of preventive maintenance systems
Experience utilizing CMMS programs
Experience in creating and managing budgets for MRO spending and labor cost management
Strong technical knowledge of food processing equipment and manufacturing machinery
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards relevant to the food industry
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
