VP of Logistics

We have been retained to fill a VP of Logistics.  This company has been growing through acquisition and is now integrating and standardizing their people, process and systems.  This is a direct store delivery model (DSD) with a lot of opportunity for optimizing routing and better use of their technology across the network.  If you are ready for an opportunity to do transformation work in a DSD system this could be the right opportunity for you!  This role covers 100+ points of distribution in the US and Canada.

Ideal candidates will have the following: 

  • BS degree

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience managing Logistics for Direct Store Delivery of Food or beverage products 

  • Optimization of the DSD systems and network

  • Implementation of technology

  • Leadership of a centralized routing system of a company owned fleet

  • Change leadership and influencing skills 

  • Understanding of Routing, demand planning and over all supply chain operations

  • Refrigerated experience is a plus

  • Willingness to travel
