Plant Controller

We have been retained to fill a Plant Controller in the greater Los Angeles area.  Our client is a growing food company with multiple plants making a variety of different food products.   

The role will have responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cost analysis and control, compliance and audit, team leadership as well as financial analysis and support to the leadership team. 

Ideal candidates will have the following:

• Bachelor's degree

• Experience supporting a manufacturing plant in accounting and finance, preferably with the food manufacturing plant experience 

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control

• Continuous Improvement minded

• Strong understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards

• Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced knowledge of MS Excel

• Strong leadership and team management abilities

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is highly desirable
