Corporate CAPEX Project Manager

The CAPEX Project Manager will develop and implement major capital projects as a key member of the engineering team. Projects will involve major upgrades to manufacturing plant, facilities and production lines, with project values ranging from $100,000 up to $10,000,000+. Focus is capital investments to support the business transformation of our assets to maximize plant productivity and reliability, while meeting company, industry and regulatory standards for food safety, health & safety and environmental sustainability.

Ideal candidates will have the following:

  • BS Degree in Engineering. An MBA or Master of Engineering Management is a plus. 

  • Minimum 10 years Project Management Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. With minimum of 5 years’ experience in Food manufacturing. 

  • 5 -7 years of progressive “CAPEX Engineering Management” experience

  • Strong experience in capital project management utilizing standards and projects delivery through Initiation, planning, and execution. Skilled in developing DQ, FAT, CQV, Ramp up analysis, and other project management protocols.   

  • Proficient in MS Office especially excel and Microsoft projects, and ability to read electrical schematics, P&ID, construction drawings, and other technical documents.  

  • Prior experience with Project Management and Tracking software/tools

  • Experience installing new lines/equipment and/or new plant start-up a plus 

  • Familiar with preventative maintenance program management, GMP’s and SOP’s

  • Experience working with equipment installation and automation 

  • Strong ability to coach, lead and direct engineering and maintenance staff  

  • Possess visual acuity to document company records
