Senior Controls Engineer

Our client is expanding their Engineering unit substantially over the next year to bring them up to speed on the factory of the future with their automation. They are looking for seasoned Controls Engineers to help upgrade all of the companies assets and pursue standardization across the sites. 

 

This is a remote opportunity that will have 50% travel to all of our manufacturing plants across the US. They are looking for experience across all types of machines from Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell, ect. A major focus will be moving towards factory 4.0 integration and setup. 

 

  • Received a technical Bachelor’s degree such as computer technology, computer systems technology, information systems, or similar technical degree.

    1. Experience designing, troubleshooting, and programming PLC’s; ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment such as:

    2. RSLogix500, RSLogix5000/Studio5000

    3. Siemens Step7, Siemens TIA Portal

    4. Or a multitude of other PLC’s

      • Designed, created, and programmed HMI screens in Wonderware InTouch, Rockwell FactoryTalk View, Ignition, or others

      • Worked with networking components

      • Worked with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s)
