Manufacturing Operations Manager

This is a bench strength position being developed to become a future Plant Manager.  The role directly oversees the Production, Maintenance and Safety departments.  Responsible for day-to-day operation of manufacturing. Driving a culture of safety and engagement, to achieve high levels of quality, customer service, and efficiency improvement will be critical to success. Collaborates with HR, Finance, Quality, CI, etc. to drive local and companywide initiatives. Key Accountabilities Percentage of Time

Ideal candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Leadership of a food manufacturing plant Production department

  • People first leadership style

  • Experience with Lean, TPM or similar CI programs

  • Developer of people and process

  • History of using KPI's and metrics to measure performance
