Director of Engineering - Texas

We are currently retained with a great client looking for a Director of Engineering over 6 plants. This will lead a team of 5 direct reports and manage all capex for the company. The role is estimated at 50% travel, potential to work out of other plant locations with increased travel. 

Candidate Profile 

  • BS in Engineering or related field

  • 10+ years managing engineering in food manufacturing plants

  • Willingness to travel 50%-75%

  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination.

  • Strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management.

  • Past experience managing 3-5 year capital plan
